The annual trip to the pumpkin patch was really fun this year. War Frog is almost 5 feet tall on the Scarecrow and Lucky Lu was all over the pumpkins! I can remember when War Frog was that little. (Time sure does fly!) Cici is turning 9 years old next month and Dubs is starting to look like a handsome young man instead of my sweet little boy. Funny thing is... Wes and I haven't changed a bit! (LOL!) TFL-LK
We had an eventful week- Full of football, baseball, Boy Scouts and outdoor fun.. The boys brought home some baby mice that were being attacked by fire ants. I don't give them a very good chance of survival but we are feeding them baby formula with a dropper and hoping they don't carry any nasty diseases. They are pretty cute when they are that tiny! War Frog got player of week in football and Dubs started Boy Scouts this fall! We are all looking forward to Halloween and our annual visit to the pumpkin patch! Stay tuned! LK
In honor of Mimi's fierceness battling breast cancer over the last year, I decided to get involved with the Susan G. Komen foundation and volunteer at the Race for the Cure. We had a great day and I really appreciate all my co-workers and friends who came out to help. Mimi had a blast and Macie thought she was the Race for the Cure mascot! We heard some amazing stories from breast cancer survivors and honored those who fought bravely but lost the fight. A great cause and a great day with my mom!
